Last updated: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ShiftWMS (“ShiftWMS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our warehouse management software and the website at www.shiftwms.com (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & contact information you provide — such as name, work email, company, role, and credentials — when you request a demo, correspond with us, or use the application.
- Operational data processed on behalf of a customer within the application (for example inventory, orders, and shipments). This data belongs to the customer; we process it to operate the Services.
- Usage & device information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, to keep the Services secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- To respond to demo requests, support inquiries, and other communications.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Services (for example hosting, email delivery, and integrated carriers such as ProShip or ERP systems such as SAP), and only as needed to provide the Services; when required by law; or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ShiftWMS, our customers, or others.
4. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Customer operational data is retained and deleted according to the applicable customer agreement.
6. Cookies
The application uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security (for example session and anti-forgery cookies). The marketing website uses minimal cookies and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Where we process operational data on behalf of a customer, we will direct such requests to that customer.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
